​Soroptimist International of Grosse Pointe (SIGP) has 60 members including 1 lifetime member as of July 2022. The structure and activities of the club begin with a board meeting the first Wednesday of each month and a business meeting the second Wednesday of each month.

SIGP in the past has awarded four Live Your Dream Awards, a Virginia Wagner Educational Award, and two Ruby Awards for Women Helping Women. These awards are funded primarily by the For the Love of Wine gift certificate raffle, Soroptimist Second Hand Sales and mini fundraisers which all members participate in.

For twenty plus years SIGP has given volunteer service to Positive Images, Inc., a residential therapeutic center for women recovering from alcohol and substance addiction located in Detroit. SIGP also funds 1 girl to attend St. Anne's High School yearly in Ghana, Africa.

Since 2008, SIGP has brought Human Trafficking awareness to the community through speakers, panel discussions and 5K Races. In 2020 we produced a video, titled 2021: Insights on Human Trafficking gleaned from interviews conducted in January 2020 with professional in our community.

In 2012, SIGP established a Friendship Link with the Soroptimist International of Hikone, Shiga, Japan. We also have Friendship Links with Soroptimist clubs in Manchester, UK; Brisbane City, Australia; Quito, Ecuador, SI of Accra and South Kolkata Wiil, Bengal.
