The members of Soroptimist International of Illiana are from the south suburbs of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Our projects give women and girls the emotional and financial support they need to change their lives through cash grants for education, hands on efforts to end domestic violence, mentoring programs, women’s health initiatives and many other community based project. We help women and girls realize the potential of their dream.

Back-to-School Mixers - SI-Illiana is known for their Back-to-School Mixers and distribution of school supplies to students in the south suburbs of Harvey and Dixmoor. Funds raised from our activities are used to support the Live Your Dream Award, Virginia Wagner Award and the Dream It Be It Career Workshop.

PADS - Club members serve as cook team every 5th Tuesday of the month and provide dinner for homeless women and children through PADS in Park Forest, IL.

Free The Girls - We help sort bras for Free The Girls in Chesterton, Indiana to assist victims of trafficking in Mozambique and El Salvador.

In order to make a greater collective impact the club collaborates with other organizations such as South Suburban Family Shelter, LOVmentoring.org and Feed My Sheep to assist victims of domestic violence, support Teen Dating Violence Programs and mentoring and celebrating girls.
